The 20th Century was a complicated time.  20th Century Moments shares some of the things I've been finding out about it as I collect memories and facts for a memoir I'm writing.
  In many ways, it was extremely destructive.  To many who lived through it, it was intolerably unjust, and full of misery.  
  To others, it seemed an era full of ease and promise of only good things to come.
